Steps to Change Whatsapp Status of Your Friend Without Touching His Phone:
(1) Open Whatsapp and go to the status tab and play the status of your friend.
The status above which is playing that we are going to change it.
(2) Go Back to Home Screen and Open File Manager ( My Files ).
(3) Open WhatsApp Folder >> Media Folder and now go to File Settings and enable show hidden files.
(4) Now go back to Media Folder and you will see “.statuses” folder is visible. In this folder, you will see all the status images of your contacts.
(5) Now Select any Image that you want to replace and move that image in .statuses folder.
(6) Once the Image is moved in .statuses Folder. Select the status image of your friend in .statuses folder and rename it. But Before renaming it copies the file name and then renames it to anything you want.
(7) Now select the image that you have moved in .statuses folder and rename that Image file with a previously copied file name.
(8) Now Open WhatsApp Again, and you will see the status of your friend has been changed. You can do prank with your friend and can show them that his status has been changed.
